I have recently designed a new French Country stove with doors that can be opened and new lace trims in two styles, crochet look and eyelet look. I was so pleased with the eyelet ones that after I designed them the laser cutter was able to cut them so tiny. The bottom photo is a room box John made that I finished in the1980's, fining quarter scale items was much more difficult then but I was able to buy plastic sets which are very similar to the ones sold today. I made the lantern and the kettle from old copper earing backings and most of the other accessories form fimo. It was fun.

 We are so lucky to live in Victoria B.C., our Spring flowers ae out and so beautiful and blossoms are sprouting.

When I was young at around this time of year and closer to Christmas, I used to love walking up and down our main street and visiting all the wonderful shops, fabric shops, toy stores etc. It was so much fun to just window shop and the windows were always fabulous. That was what I was thinking of when I started this kit but it really morphed, LOL.

I have just finished a new Quarter Scale kit as a roundtable kit for the show. It is called a Snowy Town Scene that is laser cut on heavy paper and the 4 layers and buildings can be arranged in many creative ways.

Included in the Santa and Mrs. Claus outfit kits are their shelfs with a snowflake design and boots with a fabric Elf doll for each of them. These kits include a maple veneer shelf kit and fabric kit to cut out for their outfits. Can't believe Halloween in over already!!

 Oh my goodness, I can't believe how behind I am with posting on my blog. I guess the good thing is that I've really been busy designing and with various shows. My most recent idea I put up yesterday in Etsy was the quarter scale sunflower kit in the top photo. They were so much fun to make and being laser cut on heavy yellow paper means that they are very sturdy for gluing and display.
