Snow day!!

 Snow Day! I  had so much fun adding snow to one of my new deep red paper kits. It was like playing in the snow. I added embossing paste for snow and painted the houses and trees with white acrylic paint. Amazing how I was finding snow everywhere! Can you tell I miss snow!!! We rarely get it here.

New Kit Gingerbread Christmas Baking at an Intro price in Etsy!

Happy Halloween everyone!!

This is a kit I had so much fun designing, mind you I always love designing but this was extra special since  I have always enjoyed baking, especially around Christmas. When my sons were young it was so much to bake gingerbread houses that they enjoyed devouring. One year I wanted to do our tree in a baking theme....I hung all the gingerbread men and cookies I baked. I also bought small copper cookie cutters that were on sale and tied them with red ribbons as well for the tree. Red felt decorations, garland and red balls finished the tree. Fun times!!

 

Halloween Wreaths Kit in Quarter Scale

 Halloween is such a fun time! I love all the Halloween miniatures people have designed and I really enjoyed designing these wreaths and laser cut them in heavier black paper for quarter scale. Happy Nearly Spring!!

Don't you just love the start of Spring! We are so fortunate to live with such beautiful weather. There are so many new flowers and blossoms popping up everywhere in our yard. We have jonquils, a lovely Camellia plant out side our window, so full of vibrant peachy pink blooms. Out front I enjoying perennial primroses in light yellow coming up and tiny crocuses. Even the rhododendrons are starting to have fuller potential blooms.

I've been enjoying designing recently and have quite a few new kits arriving soon. Hopefully a few new kits will be ready for Shelly's A Mini Miniature Show starting March 18. Here is the link

Above is a new kit that happened after I found fabulous children's stickers that I was using in my journal and suddenly thought that cupcakes would be fun to include in doilies. I called Cupcakes and Lace Paper Doilies. I sketched a few cupcakes and decided the ones with cherries on top look the most recognizable. I used the same inside lace designs as my teatime doilies so this is a companion set  to the Teatime Doilies and offered in 3 scales all laser cut on paper. I thought they would be fun to display handmade  Here is a link to the doilies in my Etsy shop. Cupcake doily link.

Wow, was I ever behind with posting new blogs and showing what I have been doing in quarter scale last year and this.
